Struggling with injury, fitness and form, Sturridge has rarely been a regular feature under Jurgen Klopp – with the German often prioritising the likes of Roberto Firmino in his place.
It is with good reason, of course, given that the Reds have done well for much of the season, but the situation has left our landlord questioning whether Liverpool would be even more deadly with Sturridge leading the line.
Certainly, in his pomp, Sturridge was one of the most deadly finishers in the Premier League – and if Opta Joe stats are to be believed, there are signs that the Englishman is slowly finding his feet again.

Certainly, Sturridge hasn’t quite found his scoring boots yet this season – but the fact that he is hitting the target so much is certainly a good sign.
Our landlord thinks that it might be time to bring Sturridge back into the fold – as he could be the man to get the Reds firing again.
