The Transfer Tavern is filled with googly-eyed Manchester United fans this afternoon, who are having their hearts melted by Ander Herrera and Juan Mata’s bromantic bond.
Seemingly the Red Devils’ equivalent of Rachel and Ross, these two have completely fallen for each other since being united at Old Trafford and regularly post snaps together on social media.
Mata provided the latest update on their blossoming relationship earlier today, in the form of a face swap which he posted on Twitter.

Very cute, indeed – but also kind of creepy. Whilst most face swaps make at least one person look incredibly strange, it’s almost sinister how both look like relatively normal people on a relatively normal car journey.
Back to the matter of football, the Spanish duo have been key figures in a decent campaign for Manchester United, which has them still in the hunt for the FA Cup and Europa League title after already lifting the EFL Cup.
Mata has netted nine times across all competitions despite not always being in the starting XI, whilst Herrera has emerged as one of Jose Mourinho’s preferred picks in the engine room.
