Ever since his injury against Millwall in the FA Cup yesterday, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been trying to convince themselves Harry Kane’s absence won’t ruin the rest of their season.
Such is the magnitude of his importance to Mauricio Pochettino’s side, the 23-year-old largely carries their goalscoring hopes on his shoulders and, with so much still to play for right now, the idea he could be out for a while is a rather terrifying one indeed.
While the world awaits to see the extent of his ailment, a tweet posted by WhoScored on their official account has typified just how important he is on Hotspur Way. Having missed around 2 months of the season earlier on, it seems the team as a whole struggled.
