A stunned silence has fallen over the Man United fans here in the bar at the Football Transfer Tavern as news has made it’s way here that they may lose out on the deal to end all deals.
According to reports from the Manchester Evening News the official club shop at Old Trafford is rejecting requests from fans to print shirts with the name of Jose Mourinho’s top summer target, Paul Pogba on the back.
This has lead punters having a few Friday night pints here in the Tavern desperately worried as to whether or not the Red Devils will land the French international after all.
Clubs in the past have usually been more than happy to print whatever they are asked for, with some fairly embarrassing results for fans, such as this Gooner trying to preempt some summer business…
