It’s been another memorable season for Celtic fans, who have seen their side record a fourth successive SPL title victory.
Ronny Deila has managed to win the title during his first season in charge, having been tasked with replacing Neil Lennon at Celtic Park.
Deila insists the summer will be more about keeping the talent he already has at his disposal rather than adding new faces however, with just a couple of signings expected to be made.
“For me, it is about keeping players,” said the Norwegian.
“We need consistency and the players who are here are good enough to take us to the Champions League.
“But we want to get the squad even stronger and more competitive,” he added.
“We want to get some players out and some players in as long as they are the right ones.
“But the most important thing is to continue to develop the players we have. I believe in them.”

Craig Gordon
The former Sunderland man has established himself as the first choice goalkeeper since the departure of Fraser Forster last summer.
Gordon has been faultless in another title winning season for the Bhoys, yet there have been reports linking him with a return to the Premier League.
Deila is reportedly eyeing £2m-rated Norwegian international keeper Orjan Nyland should Gordon leave, but Celtic fans are hoping that isn’t the case.
Adam Matthews
A firm favourite with the Celtic supporters, Welshman Adam Matthews has put the injury concerns of last season behind him to enjoy another consistent campaign at right back.
The former Cardiff man has now managed over 100 league appearances for the Bhoys, and is expected to start next season as the first choice right back.
A memorable moment this season came in the fixture at Hamiltion, when Matthews fired his first goal of the season in spectacular style.
Virgil van Dijk
The Dutchman has established himself as the best defender in Scotland over the past couple of seasons, and has reportedly caught the attentions of top Premier League and European clubs.
Deila insists Celtic will keep hold of him this summer however, and reckons a successful Champions League campaign next term will help develop the centre back even further.
Van Dijk has enjoyed another productive season at Celtic Park, with a personal highlight being when he scored two excellent free kicks in succession during April as the Hoops marched towards another title.
Efe Ambrose
The Nigerian has passed the 100 appearance mark for the Hoops this season, in a campaign that has finished with him winning back to back titles.
The Olympic silver medalist has been an important player for Deila this season, filling in at right back and even the heart of midfield on occasions.
Centre back remains his favoured position however, and he is expected to start there next season.
Emilio Izaguirre
After starring for Hondurus at the World Cup in Brazil last summer, left back Emilio Izaguirre has enjoyed another consistent campaign for the Hoops, and a fourth consecutive title.
The fans favourite even managed his first goal in four years this season, bagging one in the 6-0 thrashing of 6-0 Partick Thistle in the League Cup during November 2014, before adding another in a 2-0 win away to Kilmarnock at the start of 2015.
Scott Brown
The Celtic captain has only recently signed a new three year contract with the club, despite having missed the first few months of the season with injury.
His performances since have been so good however, that he has not only earnt himself a new deal, but been crowned the 2015 Players’ Player of the Year award with fellow midfielder Stefan Johansen at the annual Celtic Player of the Year awards.
Brown says he wants to create history at Celtic Park, having just captained the club to a fourth successive SPL title.
Kris Commons
Signed in January 2011, Commons has gone on to establish himself as a key player for Celtic down the years.
He has also carved himself a reputation for a spectacular goal or two, and currently holds an impressive record of 81 goals in 147 starts for the club.
The former Stoke man is perfectly suited to that attacking midfield role, and is the position from which he fired a goal of the season contender in the semi final of the cup against bitter old firm rivals Rangers, during the Bhoy’s 2-0 win back in February.
Stefan Johansen
The Norwegian has been at Celtic Park little more than a year, but has already won the hearts of the supporters.
He has enjoyed a superb season that has culminated in SPL title success, and the individual honour of being crowned Scotland’s Player of the Year.
His current record for the club reads 14 goals in 67 appearances – and two title winners medals.
Leigh Griffiths
Leigh Griffiths looks set to start next season as the Hoops first choice striker, having enjoyed a season that has seen him become the top marksman in Scotland.
After a slow start to the season, Griffiths has enjoyed a remarkable second half of the campaign, with stats of 19 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions.
Deila will be looking to bring in forwards to help ease the goal scoring burdern on him next season.
Jonathas
The Elche striker is believed to be one of the forward’s on the radar of Deila, with the Celtic boss having reportedly sent scouts to watch him in action in recent weeks.
The 26-year-old is valued at just £2.5million, and has netted 12 goals whilst on loan at the Spanish top tier club this season.
The Brazilian – who has three goals in his last four matches – is owned by Italian Serie B club Pescara, who are willing to do business for the right price.
Nadir Ciftci
The Turk has been very impressive in the SPL this season for Dundee United, and is said to be another front man Deila is considering.
The 23-year-old has managed 14 goals in 39 appearances in all competotions this term, and would jump at the chance to move to the biggest side in Scotland.
Dundee United will do all they can to hang onto their prized asset, but when Celtic come calling, it is often very difficult to say no.
