Chelsea may have suffered a slight setback in their pursuit of the Premier League title recently as Antonio Conte’s side were beaten 2-1 by buoyant Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge, though managed to beat Man City to keep their dreams alive.
Their supporters here in the pub were enraged by the Palace result, despite having their fair share of decent chances and possession, they just couldn’t break Big Sam’s team down.
And for the Eagles, the result probably secures their Premier League status after a pretty average campaign indeed.
But looking ahead, it’s clear the Blues need a little more in the tank if they are to really assert their dominance in English football and get results week in, week out.
It’s what could really set them apart from other sides in the division and the landlord here in the pub thinks a couple of quality additions could really set Conte’s men on the way to a potential second league title in succession.

Leonardo Bonucci remains one of, if not Juventus’ best defender in the whole of their squad and it’s good to see the Italian international having another strong season with his side.
Chelsea fans here in the pub have been huge fans of his for years now and have wanted to bring him to the club for a while, which is only natural.
And you get the impression that he’d add some real quality at Stamford Bridge, arguably more so than the likes of Gary Cahill and David Luiz.

Could we be seeing a return to the Bridge for Romelu Lukaku next season as his contract saga with Everton rumbles on?
