Our landlord here at the Transfer Tavern believes that West Ham should really be doing better than they are this season.

They find themselves now simply pushing for mid-table obscurity when they really should be a team pushing for at least the Europa League spots.

To make that a reality, it is rather simple what they have to do and that is to add some more quality to their squad in the summer.

With that being said, it is also very vital that they make the right additions to their squad as last year it went a bit wrong which is why they find themselves in their current predicament.

They should seek players with Premier League or European football experience that could easily slot right into their set-up and make a serious enhancement.

It’s easier said than done, but the Hammers really should use their sense and look to seal these THREE players to seriously enhance their squad…..

JOE HART

This will not by any means be an easy acquisition but one that the Irons simply should look to make.

Although Randolph has been superb at times this campaign for West Ham – he has shown moments of shakiness and made some errors.

Although Hart isn’t a stranger to the odd mistake, there is no doubt just how good he really is and how much influence he can have on the team around him as he as shown for England and Torino thus far this season.

With a number of top teams chasing he England number one it’ll be a tough one to get across the line but one that is much needed.

PABLO ZABALETA

Another player from Manchester City… But this one makes a lot of sense for both the player and West Ham.

He is not getting regular game-time at City and next season it is very likely he won’t be in Guardiola’s plans at the Etihad, and the Hammers are in dire need of a right-back.

So why should they look any further than a Premier League winner with years of experience?

MOUSSA DEMBELE

This would be an absolute coup if they managed to lure the young French forward away from Celtic, but he really could be a breath of fresh air at the London Stadium for West Ham.

He’s been a complete machine this year in the SPFL and now he needs to make that switch back to England and prove himself in the Premier League.

The striker would be perfect for a goal-shy West Ham team in the new season, but like Hart they’d also face a large amount of competition for the 20-year-old; it would be a great show of intent if they did manage to lure him to London this summer.
