‘It’s Really Embarrassing For Nando To Play In A Team Of That Quality ‘ – Says Legend…

Things are going none too well at Anfield, with Liverpool lying in the lower reaches of the table. Fernando Torres misfiring, and amidst protests, Barcelona legend Gerard Pique has urged Torres to move away, saying:

“I spoke with him before he committed to Liverpool and he told me he wanted to win things with Liverpool – but if the club didn’t invest and show real intent, he would be forced to leave.

“It’s really embarrassing for Nando to play in a team of that quality.

“You would not see Messi or Rooney playing in the Europa League – so there is no reason why Nando should be playing there.”

This will no doubt rile Liverpool fans, and while a move seems unlikely at present, it only takes one good offer to oust a player these days. Barcelona have the gift of the gab – at the moment, Liverpool don’t.
