The Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are loving life under Jurgen Klopp…
The German boss was expected to come to Liverpool and turn heads, but the German has far exceeded expectations this season – with Liverpool looking like real contenders at the moment.
What Klopp has achieved in just a year has been remarkable, and the Reds in the Tavern are expecting things to get even better as time goes on.
However, one by-product of Liverpool’s stellar form is that Klopp has had little chance to rotate his squad – and as a result, there are several players that have struggled for game time this season.
This is a problem because whether Klopp is looking to sell them or utilise them in the future – they simply must be getting game time to either prove their fitness or continue to develop.
With that said, it’s time for Klopp to loan out these 2 Liverpool players in January
Mamadou Sakho
What a fall from grace it has been for Mamadou Sakho.
The French defender looked to be getting into a decent run of form towards the end of last season, but a fallout between Klopp and the 26-year-old over the summer has seen his Liverpool career seemingly come to a premature end.
He hasn’t featured all season, and at this point: it would appear as though Klopp is putting him in the shop window.
However, given his lack of game time, it appears unlikely that he will be able to carry much of a transfer free – as clubs will not be able to rely on his fitness or form.
A short-term loan move will allow him to show off what he can do – and hopefully bring clubs calling.
Sheyi Ojo

Sheyi Ojo is a fairly classic case.
A young, highly-rated, exciting player that has impressed when given a chance, but the quality of his teammates has given Klopp little opportunity to introduce him.
At 18-years-old, he needs to be regularly playing – and a loan move simply makes sense.
A recent injury has knocked him down the pecking order at Anfield, and so Klopp should look to make this one happen.
