Leicester City have had a season of mixed fortunes so far and the Leicester City fans in the Tavern are a little unsure what to think about things!
The Foxes have set Europe alight, winning three and drawing one of their opening Champions League group fixtures.
There have been some memorable nights, with the opening win against Club Brugge really living in the memory right now.
But domestically, things have been a little more difficult for Claudio Ranieri and his players.
Whilst everyone, including the landlord in the pub, knew they probably weren’t going to win the title again this season, at times, they’ve been a little off the pace.
And with results going up and down, some believe there are a few players in this Leicester City squad that really aren’t performing at the same level as last season.
There are players that just aren’t performing and we believe some might be chopped when the transfer windows roll around.
So with that in mind, here’s TWO Leicester City players that Ranieri should wield his axe on…
Jeffrey Schlupp

Has long been a fringe player in this Leicester City side, but since being converted from an attacker to a full-back, his performances have been far from convincing.
His performance in the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea was probably the worst we’ve ever seen from the Ghanaian when at times, he quite simply looked lost.
He’s pacey and direct but defensively, he’s not what Leicester are looking for at the moment.
Daniel Amartey

It’s been well documented but where Leicester City have really struggled at times is in the middle-of-the-park.
Daniel Amartey is a good player, there is little question about that but at times, he’s been seriously out of his depth.
Whilst things have been a lot easier in Europe, heavy defeats to Chelsea and Manchester United have done little to help Amartey really grow in confidence.
Whether his time is up is one thing, but the axe might not be too far away at all.
