However, his mixed form last season cannot be understated, and at 31-years-old, he’s hardly in his prime. Perhaps, then, a sale wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Indeed, maybe it actually makes sense.

Mile Svilar would undeniably be a high-risk signing. After all, he made just 3 league appearances for Benfica last season, and he’s known for a rather calamitous error against Man Utd in the Champions League.
However, look beneath the surface, and Pochettino will see a brilliantly talented goalkeeper.
Not to mention, at just 18, he’s got more than few years to hone his craft and develop.
He’s perhaps not quite as first-team ready as Donnarumma, but he could surprise fans – and a few months under Pochettino could make all the difference.
