Tottenham Hotspur fans here in the Tavern are extremely disappointed that their side didn’t make the most of a promising position, as they looked like title contenders towards the start of the current campaign. 

Spurs have been dominant for large parts of this season and are still in with a chance of securing silverware in the FA Cup, but they did go crashing out of the Champions League in a disappointing manner. However, arguably one of their biggest low points in the current campaign was losing out on the title, after establishing themselves as contenders towards the start of the season.

Therefore, Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to get rid of any weak links in the side over the course of the summer, as a number of players could be making their way out of the exits. So, Tottenham will have their eyes on the Premier League title in the next campaign, but any slip-ups could prove costly after witnessing this year’s drop in form.

So without further ado, Tottenham must go for the Premier League title next season and axe these TWO stars in the summer…

Fernando Llorente

Indeed, Fernando Llorente has arguably been one of the worst signings in the club’s history, as he’s failed to make the most of his opportunities in the side with a summer transfer window exit looking inevitable.

Sadly, the Spaniard has only managed to produce five goals in what’s been a rather disastrous campaign, and has spent just five minutes on the field since the start of February.

Therefore, Spurs should look to axe the striker in the summer months after a poor showing in North London, with this season’s performance not being worthy of a future in the Premier League.

Moussa Sissoko

Sadly, Moussa Sissoko has had his critics since joining Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, as an outstanding performance is often followed up with a poor one.

Indeed, the Frenchman has lost his way in recent times as it doesn’t look like there’s a future to be had in North London, with many of our local residents wanting to see him traded in for cash in the summer months.

Nevertheless, Tottenham should look to cut ties with the midfielder in the summer transfer window, as there are better players out there that can come in and offer more than the 28-year-old does.
