Crystal Palace could see one of their misfits leave the club in the January transfer window.
The midfielder, who can also be used in a number of positions across the back as well, is yet to feature for the Eagles in the Premier League and looks surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park.
The former Ajax man arrived in south London as one of Frank de Boer’s first signings, however, since the Dutchman’s departure and Hodgson’s arrival, he has found his time limited.
It is understood that Fenerbahce are keen on bolstering their squad and see Riedewald as an ideal candidate to fill in for them in areas that they have struggled with this season.
The Turkish giant’s sporting director, Damien Comolli, is thought to be planning a trip to England to try and get a temporary deal in place for January.
The Verdict:

Riedewald’s career at Crystal Palace has never got going since De Boer’s sacking and a move away from Selhurst Park would certainly be considered for the best.
The 22-year-old has made just a handful of appearances under Hodgson and it does not look as though that will improve this season, especially given the former England boss has decided to only use him in the League Cup so far.
The additions Palace made this summer as well also would not have helped the Dutchman’s cause for first-team football, so it would not be a surprise to see him depart in January.
