Jamie Ness didn’t spend too long at Rangers before leaving.
He made just 19 appearances in all for the Ibrox outfit, finding the back of the net on just two occasions. He had plenty of promise, it seemed, but he left the club in 2012 on a free transfer after taking up the opportunity not to have his contract transferred over to Newco following the club’s financial problems.

He has never really pushed on, playing for Stoke City, Crewe Alexandra, Scunthorpe, Leyton Orient and Plymouth Argyle before ending up at Dundee in the Scottish Championship – it seems he has failed to make a real impression anywhere he has gone.

He did at least have one stunning moment for Rangers though, with him scoring a fantastic goal against Celtic in the Scottish Cup in 2011. That strike has been shared by the club’s official Twitter page, and it has led the fans to discuss him failing to make the most of his ability. They have taken to the social media platform to share their thoughts, with one callin him a ‘real waste of talent‘.

He had all the attributes to be an absolute star. Sadly poor moves and injuries prevented that .
What a goal though!
