Tottenham Hotspur have provided the world of football with some of the most breathtaking performances, in what’s been a dream of a season so far for the Lilywhites.

However, in typical Spurs fashion, they managed to pull together to rectify exactly what all the fuss is about, by producing a spirited Champions League comeback to down German giants Borrusia Dortmund 2-1 in what was a topsy-turvy encounter.

With the January transfer window vast approaching, it’s of great importance that Pochettino and his backroom staff are able to recruit the correct type of players that will become of the greatest impact to their title-chasing dreams, both domestically and in Europe.

One player in particular who’s losing his way with current club Manchester United is Armenian Henrikh Mkhitaryan, after Jose Mourinho decided to drop the attacking midfielder for their game against Newcastle at the weekend. Now becoming the latest player to fall under the category of a ‘caged bird’ in this legacy he’s attempting to build at Old Trafford.

Tottenham have a mould of skill-based attackers that all share an ability to create for striker Harry Kane, while providing an attacking threat of their own.
