Saido Mane looks as if he will the latest to tread the well trodden path between Southampton and Liverpool, with the Senegalese making the switch for a fee expected to be around the £34 million mark.
The punters here in the tavern think Saints have got the better deal with this one; but theres no denying the quality the 24-year old would bring to the Liverpool side – regardless of cost.
The Reds’ attack lacked last year was a bit more bite in the attacking third, and with Mane’s technical ability and speed going forward; they will be getting exactly that.
In fact, our Landlord thinks the Liverpool front four next year might just be unstoppable
Here is Jurgen Klopp’s FRIGHTENING 2016/17 Liverpool front four INCLUDING Saido Mane
LW: Sadio Mane

The Southampton winger would fit perfectly on the left hand side of a new look Liverpool attack.
This would allow the right footer to cut in and shoot from a distance; something that he was able to do so effectively last season.
His ability to dribble at defences caused backlines all sorts of problems last year, and when combined with the rest of the players in this front four – we expect more of the same next season.
Pricey at £30 million – but you cannot doubt his quality.
CAM: Philippe Coutinho

The jewel in the crown last season, Philippe Coutinho was a shining light in a relatively disappointing Liverpool attack last year.
Offering unrivalled technical ability, and the ability to pinpoint a pass from across the field; the brilliant Brazilian was unstoppable last year.
When at his best, everything goes through him, and there is absolutely no way Klopp would be able to leave him out of the side next season.
Liverpool simply must hold on to the 24-year old as they look to grow over the next few years.
RAM: Roberto Firmino

After a slow start to his Liverpool career, Firmino started to find his feet towards the tail end of last season.
Now fully adapted to life in England, we expect the Brazilian to kick on and really cement his place in that Liverpool side.
The addition of Mane will certainly force him to up his game, with competition for places only a good thing at a top side like Liverpool.
On top of that, the Brazilian connection between Coutinho and Firminho could end up being crucial, now that they are used to playing alongside each other.
A skilful Coutinho flanked by pure pace in his countryman, as well as Mane floating across, will certainly produce chances for the former Hoffenheim man.
ST: Daniel Sturridge

When Daniel Sturridge plays, he basically guarantees you goals.
The issue with him however, is that he rarely plays. After dominating during the 2013/14 season alongside Luis Suarez; the striker’s career has been marred by injury.
After coming back to the side in the tail end of the season, and with an injury free European Championship behind him; Liverpool fans here in the Tavern are hopeful that he will be able to remain fit going forward.
If he can do so; this Liverpool front four might just be unstoppable next season.
