Keep, axe or loan? The 3 players who just aren’t good enough for Crystal Palace anymore

Under new manager Sam Allardyce, Crystal Palace are fighting valiantly against relegation and look on course to remain in the Premier League if they can maintain their current form.

The Eagles looked dead and buried prior to Allardyce taking over, but with the likes of Wilf Zaha and Christian Benteke now hitting form, they should have enough about them to get over the line.

The Palace fans who come into the Tavern have been buzzing about a bit more lately, and this week, their chat has turned to who the club might look to move on and keep in the summer.

Our landlord has been getting involved in the conversation, and he thinks there could very well be some outgoing movement come the transfer window opening.

With this in mind, here are THREE Palace players who could well find their career at Selhurst Park up for debate this summer…

Lee Chung-yong

The tricky attacking midfielder is someone who seems to have been around for quite a long time now, however he has failed to cement a place in the Palace team.

He could well be one who is up for debate in the summer in terms of his future, and his time at Palace could well be up.

Frazier Campbell

The striker has often started well at different clubs and faded away, and his time at Palace is another example of this.

A loan move or a permanent transfer might well be on the cards for Campbell this summer, and there will no doubt be quite a few takers in the transfer window.

Connor Wickham

Another attacking player at the club who has failed to live up to expectations, Wickham has not played much football for quite some time for Palace now.

This could well be another telling summer for the former Ipswich man, and he will surely be looking to move somewhere and become the main man sooner rather than later.
