Glasgow Rangers: Fans hammer Kenny Miller’s comments

Ianis Hagi is now officially a Glasgow Rangers player after signing for the club from Genk last week.

The Romania international joined the Gers on loan during the January transfer window and, although he only made 12 appearances in all competitions before the season was brought to a close, his brace against SC Braga in the Europa League, helping the Ibrox outfit come from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2, shows he has has the ability to decide games.

It was reported earlier this year that the Gers have a €5m (£4.5m) purchase option in the deal that took him on a temporary basis to Glasgow, but it now seems that they managed to secure his services for £3m. Former Gers player Kenny Miller, though, does not believe that was good money, even saying that it is a little excessive.

This has angered the Gers fans, especially with it coming from a former player, and they have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts – one supporter even called the comments “stupid”. The supporters have perhaps not forgiven Miller after he slammed the club in 2019 for the way they handled his departure from the club (Daily Mail).
