Liverpool owners are set to continue backing Kenny Dalglish in the transfer market after it emerged yesterday he was lining up a summer move Marko Marin. Dubbed the “German Messi”, the player is said to have become increasingly interested in a move to the Premier League.
It could cost anything up to £15million to take the German international away from his current club Werder Bremen. At 21 he has nine caps to his name, two of those coming from cameo appearances in the World Cup, the future looks bright for the young star.
Dalglish believes Marin could be the ideal player to provide the goals for his new look strike force of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez. Marin has great technique, sleek dribbling skills and an eye for goal himself.
The rebuilding process looks set to continue should this transfer being to be completed in the summer, rumours are Liverpool are looking to set up a payment agreement with Werder Bremen before the season finishes to ward other clubs interested in the player.
