Key Spurs star reveals crucial change that has done this to his game

Our Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing how this season plays out right now but they’re also very keen to see Harry Kane back in action as soon as possible.

The Lilywhites have been very strong again this season and are certainly in with a chance of winning some silverware this year with them in the semi-final of the FA Cup – a tie that will see them face Chelsea.

They reached that stage, of course, after they comfortably beat Millwall 6-0 at the weekend and though that was an impressive victory, it was tinged by Harry Kane damaging his ankle under a challenge.

Indeed, Spurs are bound to miss him and so the sooner he is back and scoring goals the better for the men from White Hart Lane.

The England international has been in superb form this season and won the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award for February, something he was interviewed about by EASPORTS.com.

Certainly, his form picked up even more last month for Spurs, leading the striker to be asked what the key was and whether he was doing anything in particular to ensure that was the case.

And, speaking to EASPORTS.com, he said:

“My diet has actually changed slightly since January, I have got a new chef who I have been working with around my nutrition and helping me become a little bit leaner and quicker, which seems to be working. Your teammates always help as well though, when you’ve got Eriksen and Dele behind you and the guys behind them backing you up, they’re the ones creating all the chances for me so I’m just trying my hardest to put them in the back of the net. I can’t thank my teammates enough for that.”

It certainly seems to be working indeed, and Spurs fans will hope it continues for some time.
