The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been loving life in the pub this week. It has been a tough few weeks at Anfield, and so the Reds’ recent victory against Maribor is certainly being savoured. It was a complete performance from Jurgen Klopp’s men, and given how poor the results were leading up to the game, the German deserves a lot of credit for how he set his team up.
However, despite the clinic that they put on in Europe, Jurgen Klopp would be wise to make a few changes in his next game. A tough trip to Wembley is forthcoming for Liverpool, with in-form Tottenham ready to spoil Jurgen Klopp’s party. If Liverpool are at their best, it will be a very close game, but they need to prove their quality beyond one European thrashing.
Klopp would be wise to change a few of his players up, with some of the players that featured during the week deserving of a start, whilst to the contrary, others are in contention to lose their places.
With that said, Klopp must drop these 2 Liverpool players against Tottenham – agreed?
Georginio Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum hasn’t been at his best this season, that much is certain.
Despite Liverpool’s domination in the week, the midfielder wasn’t one of the standout players, and in truth, he was outshone by one of his rarely used midfield teammates.
James Milner put on a clinic for his club against Maribor, and the Englishman deserves so much credit for that given how little he has played.
He certainly deserves to retain his place, and given that Henderson has been a constant this season, it should really be Wijnaldum that makes way.
Loris Karius

Loris Karius didn’t have a lot to do on Tuesday, and so Jurgen Klopp won’t be considering keeping him in the side.
That’s through no fault of his own, of course, but unless he pulls off a miraculous performance down the road, Simon Mignolet is likely to remain Liverpool’s number one.
He’ll no doubt come back in this weekend, and Karius will take a familiar seat on the bench.
