Klopp must pick these 2 Liverpool players against Spartak Moscow to ensure UCL qualification – agreed?

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for their side’s recent fine form to continue in Europe tonight. Though the Reds have had an inconsistent season, they’ve managed to pick up a few wins over the last few weeks, and that should stand them in good stead for this game.

It’s a big one for the club, and so they need to be on their best form. They need a draw to guarantee progression to the next stage, whilst a win will secure them top spot. Ideally, then, they’ll want to pick up three points, but that won’t be easy.

They don’t want to have to rely on other results going their way, and so Jurgen Klopp will be under pressure to ensure that his side picks up another win. They’ve certainly got the players available to do just that, but it will be all about how the German sets his side up as he looks to pick up a valuable win.

With that said, Klopp must pick these 2 Liverpool players against Spartak Moscow to ensure UCL qualification – agreed?

 Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane has been rotated pretty frequently lately, and that has probably been for the best. His fitness record isn’t great, and Liverpool are really going to need him over the busy festive period.

However, given the importance of this game, it’s clear that the Reds need to be able to rely on Mane.

He’s had a decent season so far, but he’s a player that is capable of winning the game on his own, and he could certainly provide the goals that Klopp needs tonight.

The management of the Senegalese has been fantastic, and so he’ll be fighting fit and ready to go.

 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had a slow start to life at Anfield, but he has really picked it up over the last few weeks.

He offers something different in the Liverpool midfield. Providing energy and determination, you’ll never catch the Englishman walking back to defend.

He also offers something else; experience. He’s played in Europe for Arsenal before, and he knows what it takes to win a game and get through to the next stage. That could be important for his otherwise inexperienced team.

The Englishman has been in good form.
