After being brought in following the sacking of Brenden Rodgers last season, Jurgen Klopp went on to really solidify and cement Liverpool’s position in the Premier League.
They won games, and they looked good doing it; and fans here in the Tavern really took to their new manager.
Whilst last season was more about steadying the ship; next year will begin Jurgen Klopp’s building of his new look Liverpool side.
A number of incomings are expected, as Klopp looks to build the squad in his own image; but it is crucial that he does not ignore the youngsters at his disposal.
The Liverpool youth side has been hugely successful, and there are a number of talents that have come through that system, as well as brought in from outside, that could do wonders in the Liverpool first team.

Jordan Ibe
Jordan Ibe first burst onto the scene when Brendan Rodgers was in charge, with the midfielder drawing parallels to Raheem Sterling.
After impressing on Loan during the 2014-15 season, Ibe was brought back to the club by Liverpool; and impressed on a number of occasions as the season came to a close.
Since then, his career has slowed down a little bit, owing to the change in managership and perhaps a slight lack of form.
The talent is all there with Ibe however; if Klopp can give him a run in the first team as Brendan Rodgers did, there is no doubting how far this midfielder can go.
Joe Gomez
Joe Gomez was signed in the summer of 2015 as a rotation player for the side, expected to to be loaned out for the duration of the season.
However, after a number of injuries; he was thrust into the first team and he excelled. He looked unstoppable in defence and the Liverpool fans here in the tavern thought they had a star.
However then, in October; he suffered an ACL injury and was out for the rest of the season.
A real crushing blow given that he was just coming into the form of his life and looked ready to kick on, it was a real shame for the young Englishman.
However, next season he will be back, and it is essential that Klopp utilizes him. He will of course take some time to get fit, but with a good pre-season under his belt and the confidence of his new manager; he could become a Liverpool defender for years to come.
Emre Can
This is a weird one considering Emre Can was signed rather than made, and the fact that he has already notced up nearly 60 appearences for Liverpool; but next season will be Emre Can’s most crucial to date.
He is still only 22 years old, and he has a lot of development to do yet.
Under Rodgers, he was largely limited to a bit part role, often filling in where the side had injuries. Klopp however really rates the youngster, and he is often one of the first names on the team sheet.
It is imperative that Klopp continues to pay this faith to the youngster next season. If he can make that central midfield spot his own next year, he can be a staring man in that Liverpool midfield for years to come.
