The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are loving the breadth of attacking talent on display at Anfield this season…
The likes of Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have been on fire so far this year, and the fine form of Liverpool’s offensive line has been hugely influential on Liverpool’s season so far.
However, it would appear as though Jurgen Klopp is still not happy with the options at his disposal – and he is reportedly targeting a breakout Bundesliga star to solve that problem.
According to Gazza Mercato, Liverpool are keen to beat the likes of Borussia Dortmund to the signature of Mahmoud Dahoud.
Whilst Dortmund and his current club, Borussia Monchengladbach, reportedly have an agreement in principle, Klopp is reportedly ready to offer the player a significant wage to make the switch, with €4.5 million per season on the table.
It is unknown as to whether this would be enough to turn the heads of the player and club, but it seems as though Jurgen Klopp is doing all he can to secure the deal.
In terms of Dahoud, he is an impressive attacking midfielder that has been one of the Bundesliga’s best young players this season. At 21-years-old, he is an option for the future, but his performances in the Bundesliga speak for themselves.

What exactly would he add to the team is the question on the lips of the Reds in the Transfer Tavern, and that is a very easy question to answer. A quick, technical, direct midfielder – Dahoud would offer a real attacking threat to the heart of the Liverpool midfield.
