It’s game day for the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern, and they couldn’t be more excited…
It has been a decent start to the season for the Reds, and whilst they’ve suffered a couple of defeats over the last few weeks, a victory against Leicester City on Saturday has reinvigorated the happiness amongst the fans in the Transfer Tavern.
Jurgen Klopp has built quite the side, and whilst there are a few notable problems with it, the quality that he has to choose from is very impressive indeed.
That said, whilst the Reds picked up three points against Leicester City, their performance was far from perfect, and it would be wise for Jurgen Klopp to consider a few changes to his team.
In truth, a number of players simply were not good enough, and with so much quality waiting on the bench, perhaps they could do with a night on the sidelines.
With that said, Klopp should drop these 2 Liverpool players against Spartak Moscow tonight – agreed?
Georginio Wijnaldum
Liverpool’s performance against Leicester City was, for the most part, pretty good, but Georginio Wijnaldum was a bit of a weak link in the heart of the midfield.
He has been decent so far this season, but he’s far from Liverpool’s strongest option in the middle-of-the-park, and so a change could be needed.
James Milner’s experience could be useful on the night, as it’s a game that Liverpool should be looking to win, and so perhaps this is a logical change for Klopp to make.
Joe Gomez

Joe Gomez has, likewise, been fairly decent when given an opportunity, but Liverpool’s defence – collectively – has looked very disappointing indeed.
It’s been the story of their season so far, and it’s an issue that Klopp simply must solve going forward.
A lack of depth means that he has very few alternatives, but one player that could come in is Trent Alexander-Arnold. The Englishman has looked very good when called upon, and he’s solid defensively. He will be up to the challenge.
