La Liga playmaker admits he has reservations about summer Man United talks

While Chelsea are famed for sending players out on loan, Manchester United are another big club to take advantage of this route to getting fringe stars time on the pitch and Red Devils punters in the Transfer Tavern are always keeping up to date with those their club have sent out.

One man to have been earning rave reviews among Red Devils followers this term is Andreas Pereira, who has been wowing crowds in La Liga with Granada.

The 21-year-old has managed four goals and one assist since making the move to Los Carmenes, representing them on 25 occasions in league action alone.

Even though he has impressed, it seems his route into Jose Mourinho’s first-team plans is littered with obstacles, while reports that they want Mesut Ozil from Arsenal suggest that ‘Mou’ is already looking for new attacking midfielders.

And speaking to The Guardian, Pereira revealed that this summer is make or break for him in terms of his Man United career, hinting that if he’s asked to leave on loan again he may call time on his Old Trafford spell:

“I have thought about it [next step in my career],

“I would love to go back and play at Old Trafford, but if they say: ‘Andreas, we would like to loan you out again,’ or ‘we don’t want you anymore,’ I don’t know what I am going to do.

“But the focus now is Granada.”

Pereira, born in Belgium, has represented Brazil at U-23 level and has been a Manchester United player since 2011, when he moved to the club from PSV Eindhoven.
