Liverpool: Fans delighted to see Sadio Mane back in training after short injury layoff

Plenty of Liverpool fans were delighted to see pictures of Sadio Mane back in full training at the club’s Melwood training complex.

The Senegal international has missed the Premier League leaders’ last two Premier League games since leaving the field injured during his side’s 2-1 victory against Wolves in January. The Merseyside club posted pictures of the Reds’ No. 10 training with the rest of the first-team squad as they prepare for their next game away to Norwich City on Saturday.

James Milner was also spotted as he makes his comeback from his hamstring injury and the duo could be available for their Champions League Last 16 tie away to Atletico Madrid, a return to the Wanda Metropolitano where they beat Tottenham 2-0 to win their sixth Champions League crown.

Supporters were delighted to see Mane back in training and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan anticipated that the Liverpool could increase their lead even further at the summit of the league standings with the Senegalese winger in the team.
