Portsmouth: Many fans have no interest in Kenny Jackett’s comments

Portsmouth’s 1-0 loss against AFC Wimbledon means Kenny Jackett’s side currently sit 18th with just 13 points from 11 games.

The manager spoke to Pompey’s official channels after the game, speaking about what went wrong, with his main point being that the team needs to work on getting the ball in the back of the net, while there were various elements he was happy with:

However, many of the club’s fans were not as satisfied with the performance and felt that there were plenty more problems than just failing to score – one of the biggest issues they have cited is Jackett himself.

They feel as though he is often saying the same things, without ever making any actual changes to address the issues.

What also confuses many of them is that he has had the likes of Brett Pitman, John Marquis and Ellis Harrison at his disposal, yet only Bolton Wanderers have scored fewer League One goals than Pompey this season, with this showing that he is not doing a good enough job in many of their eyes.
