Crystal Palace have been looking at options to bolster their midfield recently, however, one man does not look to be heading to Selhurst Park this summer.
Roy Hodgson is looking to add quality and depth to the central midfield position after seeing both Yohan Cabaye and Ruben Loftus-Cheek both leave the club and he has already been active in looking for possible targets.
The Eagles have already added Chiekhou Kouyate to their squad during the transfer window, whilst a deal is thought to be close for Max Meyer.
However, reports are now suggesting that one man that is thought to be on the former England manager’s radar is not prepared to head to south London.
The Verdict:

Dendoncker would have been a solid acquisition should Palace have been able to land the 23-year-old.
The midfielder is strong and extremely versatile as he can play as a holding player or as a centre-back, and would give Hodgson some much-needed strength.
However, it will appear that the Eagles will need to look elsewhere now, as the Belgium international does not see his future with them at the moment.
