Andrea Radrizzani has revealed that Leeds United are now worth £300m after the San Francisco 49ers’ recent investment in the club.
Leeds value sky rockets
Following the Whites’ promotion to the Premier League, the NFL giants acquired a 37% stake in the Yorkshire-based outfit.

Speaking at the Business of Football summit, Radrizzani described how the new funds have helped the club. He said (via Leeds Live):
“Leeds is very close to my heart, it is a warm investment. The intention is to still be here for a long time and develop an important club.
“As a consequence, it will affect its value and business opportunities.”
“On the other side we are hoping to consider other investment but we don’t have a clear decision at the moment. We’re exploring different opportunities. I invested about £100m and now the value is around £300m following the investment of the 49ers. This club can become a club just after the top four.
“It can be worth more than £1bn with a new stadium after five to seven years increasing the revenue and a solid place in the Premier League.”
Will only increase
Leeds’ promotion not only allows them to compete with the best in the country on the pitch, but also gives them room to grow off it. While this is their first season back in the top flight in 16 years, Leeds remain one of England’s biggest and most historical clubs – there is plenty of potential at Elland Road.

If Radrizzani manages the club properly, there is no reason why their value can’t continue to soar. A £1bn value within seven years may be a little ambitious, but there is nothing wrong with having big goals. At the moment, there is plenty for the club to be positive about, and the owners must take advantage of that.
