Leeds went top of the Championship at the weekend after their 4-0 thrashing of Middlesbrough. Ex-Middlesbrough player Patrick Bamford may have caught the headlines with his two goals, but Jack Harrison also played a huge part in the victory, playing all 90 minutes and making a nuisance of himself.
WhoScored gave him a 7.98/10 for his showing and Leeds fan site Through It All Together gave him an eight, commenting on his “unbelievably good” first 10 minutes and noting that he “kept running at his man all game”. SofaScore’s stats agreed, recording that he completed an impressive five dribbles during the match and won 10 ground duels.
Leeds fans were over the moon at the result and the fact they were returning to the top of the table, but many took to Twitter to give special praise to 23-year-old Jack Harrison for his contribution to the win, with many suggesting he was their Man of the Match.
