Leeds United are a club that looks unbeatable at the moment, The Whites have won five and drawn three of their opening eight Championship matches and they were at it against last night as they smashed Preston 3-0. However, whilst that was going on a former Leeds man, James Milner was making PSG look like a Sunday League side and the Whites have been dreaming of his return.
James Milner came through the Leeds United academy system in July 2002 when he joined the first team at Elland Road. Two years later he was sold to Newcastle United and since then he’s also gone on to play for Aston Villa, Manchester City and now Liverpool. He’s always been a class act and the Leeds fans will be desperate to get him back at Elland Road to finish off his career.
The 32-year-old is supposedly past his best at his age but you wouldn’t know it given the way he’s been playing for Liverpool this season. The Leeds-born midfielder has scored twice for The Reds this season and the way he dealt with Neymar and co in such a high-pressure Champions League match showed his experience and the Leeds fans everywhere are desperate to have him show that experience at Elland Road next season.
