It’s now been over a week since Leeds hosted Brentford in the Championship at Elland Road. The eventful 12:30 kick off was marred by controversy. A blatant Ollie Watkins dive won the Bees a penalty before Sergi Canos was seen headbutting Ezgjan Alioski, then after the game whilst still on the pitch, Pontus Jansson accused the referee of ‘robbery’ in his post-match interview.
Not a surprise that Jansson's been charged. You don't tend to get away with comments like that about officials. Problem is, a lot of people felt the Canos incident should have been clear cut. Hard to understand how that went in his favour.

Of those three incidents, only one of them has been punished retrospectively and you can bet your last pound that it’s the Leeds man. Jansson’s post-match comments were always going to get charged and now it looks like he’ll be facing a fine from the FA, although at least he should avoid a ban. Meanwhile, the fans are fuming at the FA’s inconsistencies seeing as both Canos and Watkins have avoided any kind of punishment.
The Whites are of the opinion that had Canos or Watkins been wearing the Leeds badge on their chest whilst diving or throwing a headbutt then they would both be hit with fines and bans. This has led to a lot of supporters claiming that there is a massive anti-Leeds bias amongst the blazers at the FA and the EFL and it’s a matter that they’re not prepared to drop, most Leeds fans believe that officials are out to get them and until they see any proof otherwise then they’ll only continuing with their moaning.

its either 1 of 2 things, they are either corrupt, or they are incompetent. Either means they arent fit for purpose.

Isn’t assault a criminal act anymore? If that was Saiz it would have been a six match ban, just saying!
