Leeds fans on Twitter give their verdict on Samu Saiz

This season has seen Leeds United hit new heights under Marcelo Bielsa. The Whites have been up and around the top of the Championship all season and that’s all thanks to the Argentine tactician. However, one man who hasn’t quite been faring well under Bielsa is Samu Saiz. The Spanish wizard just hasn’t been firing this season and the fans have been sharing their thoughts on him.

Bielsa has been constantly challenging his midfielder in press conferences as he continues to try and squeeze the best out of the 27-year-old. When you consider just how many of the Elland Road stars have turned themselves around under Bielsa, it seems extremely strange that Saiz has suffered the opposite effects under the new gaffer, and all of the fans believe he can be the final piece to the promotion puzzle if he can find some form.

This season is a huge one for the Whites, not only do they have a real shot at promotion, but it’s come after one of their most frustrating campaigns of recent memory last season. None of the fans believed they had a hope in hell of going up anytime soon at the of the 2017/18 season, yet here we are talking about Leeds as title contenders. All they need now is a little bit of Spanish magic from Saiz to help them usurp Norwich at the top of the table.

Saiz is very talented. As someone who watches a lot of la Liga he still thinks like a Spanish player ,players aren’t on his level of thinking only Hernandez gets it and makes those runs for him…he needs to dumb down to championship level or get more technical players around him
