Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see their side hit the ground running and a good pre-season is going to be crucial in that quest.
The men from Elland Road know that they are expected to challenge for promotion this season coming but before they can do that they really do need to get their players back in unscathed for a good few weeks of training.
Certainly, they’ll be hoping Chris Wood stays fit with him easily their main source of goals but with him currently out on international duty with New Zealand there is every chance he could pick up a knock.
Leeds, then, were quick to post an image of Wood in training on their official Twitter account and fans were certainly quick to react.
