Leeds United take on Sheffield Wednesday this weekend in an important game in the Sky Bet Championship for both sides. The Whites go into it as league leaders and will be wanting to preserve that status whilst the Owls are looking to break back into the top six after a poor run of recent form in the league.
As well as that, the obvious bragging rights for both are at stake with it being a Yorkshire derby and so it should be a contest that offers plenty in terms of entertainment and drama. One man that won’t be playing in such a fixture any time soon, though, appears to be Lewie Coyle with his association with the Whites finally coming to an end yesterday.
He’s spent much of his time out on loan in recent years and has agreed to now join Fleetwood Town on a permanent deal:

Leeds fans have reacted so let’s look at that now:
Didn’t that happen 3 years ago?

He must have had over 100 appearances for the same club (that's not Leeds) while on Leeds' books. Surely a record for LUFC? @lufcsz

lmao he’s 24, wouldn’t say that’s a ‘Young talent’ he’s in the time where he should be in the prime of his career, why stay at Leeds to not even play when you go to a team fighting for promotion and getting started every match.
