Leeds United supporters have been in fine voice in recent times after seeing their team head into the current two-week break for internationals sat at the top of the Championship table.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men were tipped by many during pre-season to be in the promotion picture this season following the appointment of the Argentine, and they have certainly lived up to expectations so far in winning four and drawing the other two of their six league games. Victories over Stoke City, Derby County, Rotherham United, and Norwich City have been intertwined with draws against Swansea City and Middlesbrough to leave the Whites top of the pile, and thus dreaming of a return to the Premier League.
As such, there have been many delighted Leeds fans up and down the country in recent times, although their mood is likely to have taken a turn for the worst following the news that striker Patrick Bamford is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Thanks to everyone for the messages of support. I’m gutted by the news but I’ll be back ready to help the team as soon as possible and I’ll be behind the boys all the way in the meantime. #MOt

The Englishman made the move to Elland Road from fellow second tier outfit Boro during the summer as Bielsa sought to improve his attacking options, although the 25-year-old has yet to start a Championship game for the Whites this season.
And he will have to wait a little longer before earning that elusive start, as reports suggest that he has been ruled out for four months with a knee problem.
And several Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment at the news, with a lot of them unsurprisingly gutted for the 25-year-old…
Hi Patrick. So sorry to hear about your injury. Hope you make a steady and full recovery. Look forward to seeing you back on the pitch at ER.
