Leeds fans take to Twitter to laud Kiko Casilla after Boro stalemate

Leeds fans have been suffering as of late. The club has been on an unsavoury run of form and have had to call upon their goalkeeper a lot more than they’d have wanted to. However, their new man Kiko Casilla has been sublime between the sticks, and the fans will be hoping he can register his first clean sheet as a White on Wednesday.

Casilla has only played three times for Leeds, yet he’s already a well-liked figure amongst the fans. The Spaniard came in to help out Marcelo Bielsa in the goalkeeping department, and he’s usurped Baily Peacock-Farrell as their number one. However, the side is yet to get back to consistent winning ways since they’ve had him, even if the ex-Real Madrid man has been sublime.

This Wednesday, though, gives the Whites a great opportunity to see their side get another win under their belt and get that first clean sheet on the board for Casilla. Swansea will be travelling to Elland Road and whilst the Swans have been in good form as of late, the bookies will certainly be backing the side who are currently 2nd in the Championship to get all three points.
