Leeds United have had a number of injuries this season to key players that it is likely that they will head into the transfer market when it opens in January.
Marcelo Bielsa has had to use a number of the club’s youngsters to help fill the void, with a number of them impressing as they get their opportunities.
The goalkeeper position has recently become a concern for the Argentine manager, with both Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jamal Blackman having been hit with time on the sidelines.
Their match against Bristol City saw Will Huffer make his first senior appearance for the Whites, in which he kept a clean sheet as they picked up the three points.
Rangers’ Wes Foderingham has fallen out of favour at Ibrox under Steven Gerrard, with Allan McGregor having solidified his place as their number one following his return in the summer.
The Englishman, who was a mainstay of the side for a number of years, could be tempted to head across the border, having played just three matches this season.
The Verdict:
Foderingham would be an excellent signing for Leeds, especially given their current options at the moment.
With Blackman heading back to Chelsea following his broken leg, it leaves just Peacock-Farrell as their main option, with Huffer also a possibility.
However, Bielsa is keen on adding an experienced shot-stopper to his ranks and Foderingham could be that man, although he will likely need to pay a transfer fee for him as Gerrard and Rangers are thought to be reluctant on letting him leave temporarily.
