Leeds United suffered defeat against Norwich City this evening in their top of the table clash at Elland Road, which has seen them drop down into second position.
The Whites have been simply sensational in the current campaign, but today’s loss will come as a big blow as they’ve lost their position at the top of the table and Sheffield United managed to close the gap.
However, it appears as if the Whites could already be looking towards the summer, as according to Mirror correspondent David Anderson’s personal Twitter account, Leeds may return for Daniel James in the summer.
Leeds will also monitor James and may return for him in June. But if they win promotion, they may set their sights higher. Good luck to Swansea trying to get anything out of James in the rest of the season after leaving him high and dry…

Sadly, the Whites failed to secure the services of the Swansea City attacker back in the January transfer window, as their late deadline-day deal ended up collapsing.
So, Marcelo Bielsa has been left to make do with the players already at this disposal, which could become a problem if a couple of Leeds’ attackers pick up injuries.
THE VERDICT:
The Wales international is arguably one of the most promising players in the Championship, having impressed at Swansea City in the current campaign.
So, it would come as no surprise if the Whites decide to go back in for him in the summer months as he has the potential to become a future star, even in the Premier League.
