Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern certainly feel that their squad has the potential to get them up into the Premier League next season.
Indeed, whilst many were hoping this year was going to be the year that they found their way into the top flight, they have instead had to make do with the prospect of another season in the Championship.
Even so, they will be one of the favourites to come up in 2017/18 – providing their best players stay for the new campaign, Chris Wood included.
Indeed, Wood was one of the club’s best players this season just gone and has revealed just why that was the case – as quoted by Lee Sobot on Twitter:
Chris Wood on hugely improved form with #lufc: “People underestimate the value of having a manager that backs you and has belief in you”

Positive words to hear for Leeds fans, then, and now they’ll be hoping that Garry Monk stays into the new season.
