Leeds United: Fans adore The Square Ball food bank donation gesture

Responding to a pledge by Leeds United fanzine ‘The Square Ball‘, many Whites supporters have been in awe over the fan site’s pledge to donate to LeedsFansFoodbank with every pre order – hailing the gesture as ‘quality‘ and ‘fantastic‘ on Twitter.

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, which has temporarily suspended football until April 3rd at the earliest date, fanzine ‘The Square Ball’, like many other sites across the media, have had to get creative and work with the lack of match action – with this seventh addition fanzine showcasing a debatably fantastic cover and artwork to match.

Now, The Square Ball has announced that they will be donating to the Leeds fans food bank with every pre-order until Tuesday this week – potentially highlighting a brilliant gesture amid troubling times. Indeed, without the sight of Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites chasing promotion for a while, supporters and the less fortunate alike could do with some positivity.
