Responding to a post by Leeds United news account LUFC DATA, many Whites fans been in awe over numerous statistics in which their side currently lead the way – including most possession on average, most shots and most wins in the league so far.
The ‘phenomenal‘ numbers could be centred around the arguably incredible job manager Marcelo Bielsa has done since arriving at Elland Road back in the summer of 2018, with Leeds since going on to push for promotion twice – narrowly missing out last season but currently sitting in the automatic spots five points clear of third-placed Fulham.
Courtesy of LUFC DATA, supporters have been gushing over their side’s apparent statistical dominance in the Championship as well – with the Whites registering 65% possession on average (1st), 20 wins (1st), most shots on goal (591) and the largest amount of clean sheets (16). Indeed, judging by these stats, Leeds could be on course to secure promotion to the Premier League this time around.
Here’s how supporters lauded the ‘impressive‘ numbers on social media.
Phenomenal 👏🏻👏🏻

Impressive. Just catching up on these type of stats. I would think goal conversions as a share of xG or of big chances is pretty low right…based on commentary on how many missed chances..forward conversions, etc.

Bielsa Ball… 😍. Just imagine if he had a team that he could actually play in their proper positions… 🤔😉🍺
