These Leeds United fans on Twitter are starting to become frustrated with Victor Orta’s lack of spending this summer.
Some of the faithful at Elland Road have grown disappointed with the club’s activity in the transfer window as some of their main Championship rivals start to spend around them.
For example, West Bromwich Albion have been active so far with the capture of Semi Ajayi from Rotherham United, whilst they also look to be on the verge of securing a deal for Brentford’s Romaine Sawyers for a fee of just £3million, whilst Fulham strengthened up top with the arrival of Anthony Knockaert.
Leeds may have already brought in some new faces themselves with the likes of Helder Costa, but it does not appear to be enough at the moment.
With the loss of Pontus Jansson to Brentford, the Whites need to find a replacement for him and fans are desperate to see Victor Orta put his hand in his pocket and start splashing some of the money he received on new individuals.
One fan actually questioned if the director of football was actually doing anything this summer in order to help improve the team whilst another described him as an ‘absolute weapon’ as the supporter felt he had ‘no clue what good business is’.
