Responding to an exclusive club interview with fan-favourite midfielder Mateusz Klich, plenty of Leeds United supporters have been suggesting the best shows on television following the Polish international’s recommendations – taking to Twitter and voicing their verdict amid football’s hiatus.
The Premier League and EFL’s temporary suspension has forced club media and news outlets alike to improvise when it comes to delivering decent content – with Leeds United taking the initiative to sit down with Klich and ask him about his top five shows he would recommend to supporters. The 29-year-old, who has started 37 Championship games for the Whites this season (WhoScored), highly rates Game of Thrones, Homeland, The Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad and Stranger Things – with supporters taking note of his top five shows on television and delivering their verdicts right back.
In the midst of recent events, this debate has potentially distracted some supporters from the lack of football action – with one supporter claiming Klich’s list makes her ‘love him even more’.
