It would appear some Leeds United fans do not want to see Marcelo Bielsa utilise Stuart Dallas in the middle of the park again following his latest performance for the Whites.
Despite getting his name on the scoresheet and helping the Elland Road outfit to a 4-5 victory against Birmingham City on Sunday afternoon with a late effort, a number of the club’s faithful were far from happy with what they saw from him throughout the encounter.
Indeed, the Northern Ireland international, who is valued at £1.8m by TransferMarkt, has played a vital role for Bielsa this season as he has become a mainstay in the side in a number of different roles and appears to have converted his game from being an attacking winger to a defensive full-back with a rather large degree of success – an average of 2.2 tackles, one clearance and 0.9 interceptions would help to further highlight that idea (as per WhoScored).
However, his efforts in the middle of the park against the Blues do not appear to have gone unnoticed by the Leeds faithful, although for all the wrong reasons.
Many of the supporters on Twitter called for Bielsa not to play him in the middle again, whilst others suggested that he had little-to-no impact on the game and was anonymous for parts of the match – despite scoring a late fourth for the Whites.
Here are just some of their reactions…
#lufc anonymous midfield is killing us at the moment. Klich doing nothing, Dallas too lightweight, getting overrun

Has to get Dallas back at RB. That’s when we were getting clean sheets #lufc

Really need to get Roberts on for Dallas I think. Dallas looks a bit lost some times in that position. #lufc

Dallas isn’t a centre mid #LUFC

We cannot keep playing Dallas at CM, we lose all control in centre of the park, makes it much harder to control games #lufc

Tbh Matt we might as well play with 10 men than have Dallas at No 10 he contributes nothing in that role……mindyou Klich doesn’t either of late #LUFC
