Leeds United managed to salvage a 1-1 draw against Preston North End at Deepdale on Tuesday (via BBC Sport).
The Whites found themselves behind after Tom Barkuizen opened the scoring in the 74th minute, but Eddie Nketiah found a late leveller with just three minutes left to play.
The result means that Marcelo Bielsa’s side remain in second place at the time of writing, still two points adrift of leaders West Brom (BBC Sport).
Whilst Nketiah will come away from the game with praise having equalised, the same cannot be said for fellow striker Patrick Bamford.
It was a poor night for the former Norwich City and MK Dons man, who failed to score for an eighth successive game (via WhoScored).
To make things worse for the 26-year-old he had six shots in the match and didn’t get a single one on target (@LUFCDATA) and he missed an absolute sitter in the second half (via @PhilHay_).
Leeds fans were left frustrated at Bamford’s latest performance, and were quick to criticise him after missing several chances at Deepdale.
Here is what some supporters said on Twitter…
Woeful. Time for him to go now surely.

If he can’t score that he needs a spell on the bench! Plays well but doesn’t score goals!

Least clinical player in history

Goals win games not holding ball up and running about, he isn’t clinical enough therefore shouldn’t Be in starting 11
