Leeds United: Fans gush as Phil Hay relays EFL latest stance

Reacting to a tweet from The Athletic journalist Phil Hay, relaying an update from the EFL in regards to their plan of action surrounding what is currently going on, many Whites supporters have been gushing over their pledge to finish this season.

The EFL, who opted to cancel fixtures until April 3rd at the earliest due to the seriousness of recent events, have since come out to inform clubs and supporters alike that finishing this campaign is their ‘primary objective‘ – along with providing a £50 million package to help teams across the Football League financially amidst these uncertain times. The package will also include an ‘interest-free loans facility‘ to assist clubs in their continual running during the off-season, prompting many Whites supporters to applaud the EFL’s latest pledge in response to Hay’s summary of the situation.

One supporter even, perhaps sarcastically, claimed that he ‘always said the EFL were a great organisation‘. Find all of their best comments down below.
