Much of the talk surrounding Leeds United right now has, naturally, focused around potential incomings at Elland Road. Indeed, with Marcelo Bielsa at the helm in West Yorkshire, the Whites had been expected to undergo a major rebuild to ensure the Argentine can get his trademark footballing message across.
Well, while there have been incomings and the like, perhaps the most shocking transfer business Leeds have been involved in is the likely departure of academy graduate Ronaldo Vieira. The England U21 international, a mainstay in the first-team in recent months, looks like heading off to Serie A side Sampdoria in a shock switch, one that has appeared pretty much out of nowhere.
The 20-year-old is a popular figure amongst the Elland Road faithful though Samp’s reported offer of £7.7m looks to have tempted the Yorkshire giants into selling. Indeed, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Phil Hay, the club thought it was simply too good an offer to turn down, despite his standing in the squad.
With that in mind, here’s a look at some of the reaction to the deal.
I don't necessarily agree with this, however he was poor last season and £7m is alot of money for us to use to re-invest. I just hope it doesn't come back to bite us. I can see it now, 2 years time he ends up at Juve. Called it.

Was never 100% convinced that Vieira would go on to be a world beater. For that money if we can get a couple of extra players in key positions like CB that gets us promoted then I'd be happy. Sooner we get back up the better chance we have of keeping our youths in the future!

He wouldn’t of started, the move happened quickly which suggests he was happy to move, good luck to the lad
