Following Leeds United’s 4-0 drubbing of Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon (BBC), a number of fans had taken to Twitter to share their reactions to the performance of Luke Ayling.

Patrick Bamford got things started for the Whites against his former club when he netted in the third minute, before a Mateusz Klich brace and a Helder Costa strike sealed a dominant victory against former player Jonathan Woodgate’s side at Elland Road.
Indeed, the comprehensive victory meant Marcelo Bielsa’s side would be heading into Sunday at the top of the Championship table by a solitary point.
Twitter user LUFCDATA shared the right-back’s statistics following the final whistle, which had left many of the supporters lauding the defender’s overall game, despite not getting on the scoresheet.
According to the figures, Ayling had the most touches of the ball during the game, whilst he also made the most successful passes and recorded the joint-highest number of tackles to help Kiko Casilla and Leeds keep another clean sheet.
Fans were delighted with what they saw from the 28-year-old, with many of them taking to Twitter to gush over his stellar display.
